Skills and Competencies
- Minimum 10 years of enterprise sales, strategic account management, or relationship management experience, preferably selling complex software, data, analytics, risk, compliance, and workflow solutions to government, public sector, quasi-government, regulatory, or financial services institutions
- Strong understanding of government priorities and operating environments across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including digital transformation, risk management, financial crime compliance, KYC/AML, regulatory oversight, data governance, and analytics-led decision making
- Established network and proven ability to engage senior decision-makers, including leadership across ministries, regulators, central banks, public investment entities, and government-related institutions in KSA
- Demonstrated success in identifying, shaping, and closing complex, high-value enterprise sales opportunities, including multi-stakeholder and long-cycle deals
- Strong consultative selling, executive communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build credibility and influence at the C-suite, board, and senior government stakeholder level
- Knowledge of national and international risk, compliance, and regulatory frameworks is strongly preferred, particularly across areas such as KYC/AML, third-party risk, sanctions screening, onboarding, due diligence, regulatory reporting, and financial crime workflows
- Proven ability to develop multi-year account strategies, expand wallet share, and drive cross-sell and upsell opportunities across a broad portfolio of Moodys solutions
- Strong commercial discipline, including forecasting, pipeline management, opportunity qualification, and execution rigor
- Highly driven, resilient, and well-organized professional with a relationship-led, advisory sales style and the ability to work effectively in a matrixed, cross-functional environment
- Proficient in AI concepts and tools, with experience applying AI-enabled solutions to improve client workflows and business outcomes. Demonstrates a strong commitment to responsible AI use and developing expertise in AI risk management and governance
- Fluency in English is essential; Arabic is strongly preferred
Education
- Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- Postgraduate qualifications in finance, risk, compliance, public policy, or business are advantageous
Responsibilities
- Own and manage a strategic portfolio of government and public sector relationships in Saudi Arabia, building senior-level engagement and long-term account plans aligned to client priorities and national transformation agendas
- Drive revenue growth by originating and expanding opportunities across the full Moodys solution set, including risk, data, analytics, KYC/AML, compliance, due diligence, regulatory, and AI-enabled workflow solutions
- Retain and grow existing revenue through effective cross-sell and upsell strategies, increasing product penetration and enterprise-wide adoption within key accounts
- Lead complex sales cycles from opportunity identification through solution positioning, proposal development, commercial negotiation, procurement engagement, and contract closure
- Engage clients in a consultative manner to understand strategic priorities, operational challenges, and regulatory requirements, translating these into clear value propositions and tailored Moodys solutions
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across client organizations, including decision-makers, influencers, procurement teams, compliance leaders, risk leaders, and transformation sponsors
- Partner closely with Product Specialists, Solutions Consultants, Legal, Finance, and leadership teams to drive coordinated account coverage, shape opportunities, and close enterprise agreements
- Contribute market insight and client feedback to senior management, helping inform product strategy, business priorities, and go-to-market execution in Saudi Arabia
- Maintain high standards of forecast accuracy, pipeline hygiene, account planning, and reporting discipline, ensuring visibility of key opportunities, risks, and growth drivers
- Support strong governance and commercial discipline in all client activity, with attention to conduct, compliance, and best execution standards
- Travel as required across the Kingdom and region to strengthen relationships and advance strategic opportunities; this role is expected to require up to 50% travel and supports a hybrid working model

This role supports Moodys continued expansion in Saudi Arabia through our Riyadh regional headquarters. You will join a high-impact, collaborative sales environment focused on helping government and public sector clients address increasingly complex challenges through data, analytics, risk, compliance, and workflow solutions.
The team works closely across sales, product, specialist, legal, and finance functions to deliver strategic outcomes for clients and accelerate sustainable growth for Moodys in one of the firms most important growth markets.
