SUMMARY:

Securitization Credit Structuring works with our origination team, across various asset classes for existing and prospective clients.  The Associate will be expected to manage and monitor a sizeable portfolio, providing strategic direction in framing client opportunities to drive our client business forward. Will work closely with the origination team and other product and risk management partners, utilizing one’s expertise to ensure the continued success of our product offerings. Additionally, the Associate will be expected to support our Sponsor team by creating various credit applications utilizing commitment letters, fee letters, and credit agreements, within given deadlines.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work closely with origination team and review program documents, deal structure, and complete credit applications.
  • Respond to various customer requests, explain deal mechanics to our back office, and assist our risk and credit teams as questions arise.
  • Prepare credit applications on new transactions and renewals, outlining rationale, structure, terms and conditions, and returns, as well as other requested or required forms or information needed
  • As part of credit application process, prepare as needed/required:

    - Front Sheets, Collateral and Guarantee Registrations, etc.

    - Coordinate/manage compliance requirements (Conflict of Interest, External Legal Waivers, KYC, etc.).

    - Ensure all related internal policies and procedures are followed, including sector/industry risk limits.

    - Work seamlessly with Credit Risk, Covenant Compliance, Portfolio Management, and other areas.

  • Engage with the Customer, Agent Bank, Bank Participants, and Operations to ensure seamless deal execution for the Client.
  • As part of first line of defense, act as a credit steward monitoring client performance trends/market movements in coordination with the Credit Risk department, and action as needed.
  • Act as the Agent on various securitization deals; set up wires, review co-lender invoices, disseminate servicer reports and other reporting to our co-lenders, and respond to lender and client questions.
  • Produce monthly income and usage reports which are shared with our reporting team (COO).
  • Create various monthly and quarterly reports (ex: Deferred Purchase Price, SPE Checklist, Risk Weight Modification, CRI, etc.).   
  • Assist with regulatory related requests/meetings/presentations, as needed.
  • Assist with audit related requests/meetings/presentations, as needed.

The expected base salary ranges from $87K - $125k. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
