We are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced Payroll Specialist to join our payroll team in Bangalore. The role involves managing the day-to-day operations of multiple payrolls, ensuring compliance, and collaborating with global payroll, HR, finance teams, and payroll vendors. This position requires an individual who can thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining the accuracy and confidentiality essential to payroll processing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage payroll for India location.
  • Ensure payments are processed correctly and on schedule.
  • Manage payroll-related queries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Collaborate across departments.
  • Ensure compliance with local Indian payroll laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and audit trails.
  • Prepare and submit payroll-related reports.
  • Work closely with payroll vendors.
  • Use and support HR systems.
  • Respond to employee queries.
  • Communicate payroll changes, updates, or requirements to stakeholders.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Experience:
    • 4–8 years of proven experience in payroll processing, with exposure to Indian payroll operations is required
    • Hands-on experience working with payroll vendors (experience with Cloudpay is a bonus).
    • Knowledge of HR systems (experience with Workday is a bonus)
  • Technical Skills:
    • Advanced knowledge of Excel for payroll reporting and analysis.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach.
    • Excellent communication skills to liaise with employees, vendors, and internal teams.
    • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
    • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a willingness to participate and improve processes.
