Full Job Description

Design Engineer - Core AI

We are seeking a Design Engineer to design and build intuitive, high-quality user experiences for our AI tools. This team designs and builds tools that enable the firm to leverage Large Language Models (LLMs) in their daily workflows. As part of the team, you will work on cutting-edge AI solutions, including our enterprise Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, and deliver AI solutions used by Core business teams. The ideal candidate is a mid-level front-end engineer with strong React experience who can also perform key UX responsibilities—recommending interaction approaches, producing mockups/prototypes, and translating them into production-ready UI. This role requires strong product thinking, excellent visual/UX judgment, and the ability to ship polished interfaces that users trust.

Our Israel office is located in the Bursa area of Ramat Gan. This role will be on-site.

As a global firm, proficiency in English is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Senior Product Manager to execute against the AI product roadmap
  • Ensure stakeholders are aligned by creating mockups and prototypes (e.g., in Figma).
  • Propose user flows, interaction models and screen-level designs.
  • Translate workflows and requirements into production-ready UI by building accessible, performant React components and defining clear UI behavior across all relevant states, edge cases, and permissions.
  • Design and implement AI-specific interaction patterns, including streaming outputs, loading and progress states, source and context panels, feedback controls, error handling and retry flows, to reduce friction and increase user trust and adoption.
  • Collaborate day-to-day with Engineering, Data Science, and business stakeholders to clarify requirements, validate usability, resolve tradeoffs, and ensure smooth delivery through sprint execution and release readiness.
  • Contribute to a scalable design system and component library by improving reusable patterns, documentation, and standards that increase consistency and accelerate development velocity across AI tool surfaces.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • B.Sc. in Computer Science or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of professional experience building modern web applications as a front-end engineer, with strong hands-on experience in React.
  • Demonstrated ability to build reusable, component-driven UI
  • Demonstrated experience independently defining UX interactions and reusable UX components in the absence of a dedicated UX resource, including the ability to propose user flows, produce mockups/prototypes (e.g., in Figma or a similar tool), and translate them into production-ready UI.
  • Experience in integrating front-end applications with APIs and asynchronous data flows.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and product judgment
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working in a professional engineering environment
