Your Impact

You will be taking the lead in shaping the strategy, development, and optimization of our ServiceNow platform.
Youll have the opportunity to align the platforms capabilities with our organizational goals, ensuring it delivers real value to our stakeholders. This is a chance to bring together your technical expertise, strategic mindset, and leadership skills to drive innovation and improve efficiency across IT service management and other business functions.
You will design, develop and support highly scalable, responsive web applications and services on top of our service management (ServiceNow) platform. You will produce high quality code that is unit tested, code reviewed and checked in regularly for continuous integration. You will build reusable code and libraries for future use.
You will also engage with our world-class engineering and programming teams to build products and solutions. You will be collaborating closely with product managers, developers, and other disciplines to identify what will be most critical to the success of a product, what it should feel like to interact with a product or service across multiple touch points, and define how we bring the experience into reality.
You will be based in India and be part of our global software engineering community in the Tech Ecosystem function. You will be working with an experienced team/squad consisting of a product manager, UX designer, software engineering lead and software engineers. You will help deliver the best user experience through enterprise services to our McKinsey colleagues.

Your qualifications and skills

  • 5+ years of strong experience of software development experience and 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow applications development and implementation of IT products like ITSM, ITAM and ITOM
  • Experience on Servicenow Request Management, Orchestration Workflow and Flow designer
  • Knowledge in Cloud Computing (AWS / Azure), PowerShell and Python, Now Assist implementation, ServiceNow Gen AI use cases & knowledge on MID Server and integrations
  • Strong expertise and proven track record in building applications using ServiceNow Platform
  • Driven to use JavaScript and the Web as a platform, reusability, and componentization
  • Deep knowledge of AJAX, JSON, HTML, XML, CSS, SOAP, REST and associated frameworks
  • Strong expertise to integrate securely between systems by writing and utilizing Web Services and other APIs
  • Hands-on experience with extending the ServiceNow schema to custom applications and working on ServiceNow platform capabilities like UI
  • Good understanding and experience of Full stack technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Good understanding and experience implementing modern and responsive SPA web applications using one or more of the following & work within an agile/scrum environment is highly desired
  • TypeScript, AngularJS, React, Redux, Bootstrap or modern open-source web frameworks
  • Good understanding and experience with developing secure, robust, stable and scalable code including advanced concepts such as OOP
