Your Impact

In the role of a Senior Knowledge Analyst, you will be part of our client consulting teams with a focus on bringing in expertise and tools in the area of health system governance, financing and provision.
You will work closely with our healthcare clients in the kingdom from various sectors such as public bodies, health insurance companies or providers, utilizing your project management skills and communication with diverse stakeholders.
Our Healthcare Team utilizes insights, analyses and data from the healthcare sector (e.g., health systems, health insurance companies or healthcare providers) to address some of our clients' most pressing challenges, such as: "How can we optimize healthcare costs while simultaneously improving quality?", "How is GenAI shaping the way we organize and deliver healthcare?", "Who are the most sensitive patient groups, and with which treatment pathways can we improve their care?"
As a Senior Knowledge Analyst, you are expected to collaborate with our clients on their most urgent topics in the healthcare spere. In your daily operations, you will collaborate closely with our experts and data scientist colleagues, and our consulting teams to prepare and execute client work. You will also support the development and maintenance of proprietary knowledge capabilities in conjunction with other experts in local and global practices.
As part of McKinsey's global Client Capability Network, comprising over 8,000 colleagues who support our clients and consulting teams with expertise and industry analyses, you will be joining our Social, Healthcare and Public Entities (SHaPE) Practice with a focus on health systems.

Your qualifications and skills

  • Bachelors or Masters in Medicine, Public Health, Health Economics, or an associated field
  • 4+ years of professional experience in a relevant field (e.g. healthcare bodies, healthcare delivery, payers and insurers, bilateral organizations, academia or consulting), preferably in the Middle East
  • Solid understanding and application of the following areas: Health system financing, public governance, quality and access, public health, digital health and analytics
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, particularly in analytical and quantitative areas
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint; additional data analytics and visualization is a plus (e.g. PowerBI, SQL, Tableau, Python)
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset with the motivation to continuously improve the status quo and drive this independently
  • Willingness and ability to travel to client and McKinsey locations within and outside the country
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively with people at all levels in an organization
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in Arabic and English
