As a Consultant in McKinsey's Manufacturing & Supply Chain practice, you will play an active role in client problem solving—identifying issues, forming hypotheses, designing analyses, and synthesizing conclusions into actionable recommendations. You will serve as a junior practice specialist on multiple engagements across industries and operations service lines, building the knowledge to help companies achieve operational excellence. You will engage with clients to create new strategies across a range of projects, from automation to predictive maintenance, expanding analytics capabilities and architecting innovative solutions. Based in Seoul, you will help solve complex operational challenges within McKinsey's Operations practice and contribute to lean transformations in manufacturing and supply chain.

Your qualifications and skills
- Bachelor's degree ideally in science and engineering; master's or other advanced degree preferred
- 1-10 years of experience with manufacturing/supply chain in electronics, machinery, consumer goods companies and basic materials (e.g., metals & mining, pulp & paper), oil & gas industries
- Proven record leading lean/Six Sigma projects across the manufacturing/supply chain area
- Experience with reliability, maintenance and/or condition monitoring; experience with process control and control systems is a plus
- Experience in application of advanced manufacturing/ supply chain technology including digital and big data (e.g., Smart Factory, IoT, Industry 4.0 automation/robotics in world-class production facilities) is a plus
- Proficiency in one or more of the following: predictive analytics (maintenance, production, environmental conditions), optimization, tools & software, simulations, automation is a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment at all levels in an organization
- Comfortable with extensive travel
- Strong communication skills, especially around breaking down complex structures into digestible and relevant points for a diverse set of clients and colleagues
- Fluent in both English and Korean
