Join McKinsey Transformation (MT) as an Associate to lead client transformations with an execution-focused, holistic approach, delivering interim management and transformation leadership. You will combine strategic thinking with disciplined implementation to identify operational, organizational, and financial levers and apply McKinsey’s MT processes, tools, benchmarks, and methodologies. This role is based in an MT office in Germany or Austria, collaborating with a global network to drive rapid, sustainable performance improvements.

Your qualifications and skills
- Bachelor's degree; master's degree or MBA is preferred
- Degree in business/management, economics, engineering or law preferred
- Experience with financial modeling, analysis and valuation preferred
- Experience in driving operational turnarounds and/or accelerated growth initiatives spanning critical strategic, revenue, cost, and working capital levers
- Ability to drive change through people leadership and capability building
- Experience working in professional service environments, especially management consulting, restructuring/transformation consulting, investment banking, private equity, preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively (both verbally and in writing), in German and English
