The role is responsible for reviewing and managing intercompany accounting and month-end closure for all Group entities, with a focus on intercompany accruals. You will support country tax teams to respond to queries during tax audits, and participate in issuing and sharing intercompany invoices from SAP. The role also involves coordinating with country tax teams, office accountants, global accounting for sub-ledger updates, and with the firm treasury on intercompany settlements; you will prepare intercompany balance reconciliations and GL accounts reconciliations for statutory reporting, and manage SAP journals and company code changes alongside technology and controllership teams.

Your qualifications and skills
- A qualified Chartered Accountant with minimum 5 - 8 years of experience (post qualification)
- Previous work experience in Big Four or other top accounting firm or working in industry with a substantial previous work-experience with the Big 4. Intercompany accounting/reconciliation experience preferred, SAP ERP knowledge an added advantage
- Ability to handle multiple projects and to drive projects successfully
- Initiative and desire to excel
- Strong accounting and basic tax knowledge
- Capability to review the work of team members
- Proven track record of client service
- Ability to handle large volume of data
- Ability to develop relationships and network
- Ability to solve complex accounting problems
