Your Impact

You will be responsible for reviewing and managing the accounting of intercompany accruals for all Group entities as part of month-end closure.
You will be supporting country tax teams to share responses to queries regarding intercompany transactions during tax audits. You will also participate in the issuance and sharing of intercompany invoices from SAP with office accountants. You will be corresponding with country tax teams, office accountants for information required in the statutory/ tax accounting process and corresponding with global accounting for updating sub-ledger information, and corresponding with the firm treasury team regarding intercompany settlements are part of this role.
You will help in preparing the intercompany balance reconciliation for group entities as part of statutory audit and preparation of GL Accounts reconciliation for statutory reporting of intercompany transactions. You will work on correspondence for opening and closing company codes in SAP, which involves collaboration with country tax teams, technology teams and the controllership team. Other responsibilities include the preparing and processing of journals in SAP, documentation of processes followed and work performed, and other intercompany related tasks as assigned on a time-to-time basis.

Your qualifications and skills

  • A qualified Chartered Accountant with minimum 5 - 8 years of experience (post qualification)
  • Previous work experience in Big Four or other top accounting firm or working in industry with a substantial previous work-experience with the Big 4. Intercompany accounting/reconciliation experience preferred, SAP ERP knowledge an added advantage
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and to drive projects successfully
  • Initiative and desire to excel
  • Strong accounting and basic tax knowledge
  • Capability to review the work of team members
  • Proven track record of client service
  • Ability to handle large volume of data
  • Ability to develop relationships and network
  • Ability to solve complex accounting problems
