Role Summary
The Operations Systems Support role sits within Marexs post-trade product management team for ION's XTP & FEES clearing solution. Responsibilities include but not limited to Static data ownership, assisting with system upgrades and enhancements required to ensure robust/stable operational processing, supporting/collaborating with internal operations departments.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that system static data is accurate for new products and new exchanges.
- Work with Operations departments to ensure solutions meet business requirements, including testing new functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues on a daily basis as part of the global support function.
- Build and enhance reports from the back and middle office across multiple asset classes.
- Identifying areas of improvement and working closely with the Head of Operations Systems Support.
- Ensure all systems and procedures are fully documented, including environment schematics.
- Collaborating with the Vendors Technical Account Management team in weekly meetings and calls as a subject matter expert
- Act as liaison between functional areas, third party vendors, and exchanges on market led initiatives.
- Assist with vendor system upgrades and patch sweeps, in accordance with the firms change control policies. this may require weekend work for product validation.
- Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with.

Skills and Experience
- Knowledge of IONs XTP & FEES clearing solution essential
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working in a regulated environment and knowledge of the risk and compliance requirements associated with this.
