What role will you play?

Based in Sydney, you will be working as part of a global team to review and deliver a Target Operating Model for a large Remediation Program, driving significant process change to improve efficiency, automating processes and enhancing the effectiveness of the control environment. You will collaborate with the Commodities and Global Market Quant, Model Risk Management, business functions, and technology teams to define the future state of divisions model development and model risk management lifecycle.

You will bring with you an understanding of end-to-end business process mapping, preferably model life cycle management, more broadly that will allow you to conduct detailed analysis and suggest suitable improvements to systems, processes, controls and governance. You will demonstrate a high level of attention to detail in producing accurate documentation and will possess a strong risk mindset.

  • Demonstrated business analyst expertise defining needs and recommending business solutions and a proven track record of high-quality and timely delivery following a clear delivery framework
  • Excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholder groups across business, risk management and technology
  • Experience in Banking and Financial Services (5 years or more), especially in regulatory remediation is preferred. Understanding of the regulatory risk to commercial progress and regulatory obligations is essential
  • Experienced in model risk management target operating model, including process and control design, improvement and operationalisation is preferred but not essential this may include experience in model risk management or working with compliance of regulatory standards more broadly
  • Motivated and flexible to adapt within an evolving operating structure
  • MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Confluence and JIRA experience is essential.
