Join the Commodities and Global Markets Group at Macquarie as a Risk Manager in the Client Fulfilment team. You will support and drive proactive improvement of processes, controls and operational risk awareness across the business, identify operational issues and control breakdowns, and lead incident investigations and reporting. You will provide advice on risk matters, assess new product initiatives, and participate in reviews of group-wide policies and testing of control effectiveness. The role is based in Sydney and is a permanent, full-time position at mid-senior level.

- 5+ years experience in non-financial risk management, with Operational Risk and any Data experience highly regarded
- Experience working with trading and financing businesses, with experience over KYC and AML requirements within Financial Services being valuable
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, with a demonstrated ability to work with senior business and risk colleagues to drive, challenge and influence as well as lead conversations regarding anticipated or emerging issues
- Sound knowledge in data analysis, problem solving and process improvement with the ability to think laterally, grasp abstract concepts and complex situations combined with strong problem-solving skills.
