What role will you play?

In this role, you will use your Financial Markets knowledge to provide expert advice on the end-to-end risks and controls environment, you will support and facilitate the continued improvement of processes, controls, and operational risk awareness and culture across our businesses. You will partner with the trading desks and support groups, leveraging your expertise to develop a comprehensive knowledge of all processes to proactively manage operational risks. You will provide advice on a broad range of risk matters, assess new product and business initiatives, investigate incidents, and test the effectiveness of controls.

What you offer

  • 5+ years work experience in non-financial risk management, ideally with experience in financial markets
  • Previous experience in compliance, operations or surveillance aligned to trading will also be considered
  • A continuous improvement mindset and comfort in interpreting and balancing commercial issues within a risk framework
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, with a demonstrated ability to work with senior business and risk colleagues to drive, challenge, and influence, as well as lead conversations regarding anticipated and emerging issues.
