Investment Analyst - Equities Office of the CIO
Macquaries Wealth Investment Strategy team plays a critical role within our market leading Macquarie Private Bank business, which has around approximately $60bn under management. Our team has a close, collaborative working relationship with the broader Banking and Financial Services business including the Wrap platform.

- Strong technical skills in manager selection, underpinned by rigorous quantitative analysis and the ability to evaluate investment managers using data-driven frameworks (e.g. performance attribution, risk-adjusted return analysis, factor exposure)
- An unwavering research focus with the ability to synthesise qualitative and quantitative insights into clear, actionable investment recommendations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including an ability to present complex analytical findings and influence senior stakeholders with confidence and clarity
- Ability to work independently and as an excellent team player, managing competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to critically evaluate listed equities investment strategies, incorporating both fundamental and quantitative lenses
- Strong interest in global financial markets, macroeconomic dynamics, and delivering exceptional client investment outcomes
- CFA qualified (or working towards it) and RG146 are highly regarded.
