- 35+ years demonstrated experience in risk, governance, compliance, business analysis or control design, ideally within financial services or a regulated environment
- Strong understanding of risk frameworks, policy compliance and control assessment, with the ability to interpret and apply requirements pragmatically
- Experience supporting or managing approval, assurance or change governance processes, with strong documentation discipline
- Familiarity with AI, data or technology risk concepts (e.g. model risk, data privacy, bias, cyber risk), with a willingness to deepen technical understanding
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively across business, technology and risk teams
- High attention to detail, strong analytical thinking and the confidence to challenge constructively and escalate issues where required
- A proactive mindset, with the ability to identify gaps, anticipate emerging risks and contribute to the evolution of governance frameworks.
