Senior DevOps Engineer - Workflows

Are you passionate about building scalable, secure, and resilient products that power LSEGs world-class financial software offerings?

Were looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to help drive innovation, implement modern DevOps practices, and contribute to the evolution of our cloud-native infrastructure.

What Youll Do

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, youll play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining the infrastructure and automation that powers our financial software products:

  • Automate full-stack infrastructure using Terraform and GitLab workflows.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI to enable fast, secure, and reliable software delivery.
  • Deploy and manage workloads in Amazon ECS, EKS and Azure AKS.
  • Implement monitoring and alerting to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with external teams to ensure infrastructure aligns with security standards, development and business goals.
  • Follow corporate processes and best practices.
  • Continuously improve systems through automation, performance tuning, and process optimization.
  • Work across multiple projects with varied architectures and deployments.

Your Tech Toolkit

Were looking for someone with experience in:

  • Cloud platforms: AWS (EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.); Azure (ACA, AKS, Blob Storage, CosmosDB, HDInsight, SQL, Monitor, etc.)
  • Infrastructure as Code: Terraform (preferred), CloudFormation
  • Networking and Cyber-Security: DNS, CertificatesWAF, VPCs/VNets, Security Groups, NACLs, etc.
  • Container orchestration: load balancers, ECS, ACA, Kubernetes (AKS/EKS)
  • CI/CD tooling: GitLab CI (preferred), Jenkins
  • Scripting & automation: Bash/Shell, Python
  • Security best practices: IAM, KMS, encryption in transit/at rest
  • REST, WebSocket, long-lived TCP connections.
  • Monitoring & observability: DataDog, BigPanda

LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated annual gross base salary for this position is between 159,500 z - 252,200 z. Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Bonus Plan (bonus plan). Target Bonus % will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job-related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience.
