Role profile:

Reporting to the Head of LSE Market Data and RNS, as part of our high performing Data & Related Services business, this is an exciting Director-level opportunity to develop a product strategy to excite our customers and grow our revenue across LSE Market Data, RNS, SEDOL, ISIN and LEI.

 

ROLE SUMMARY:

 

  • Working closely with the Head of LSE Market Data and RNS, as well as sales, operations and engineering teams, devise and implement the Market Data, RNS, SEDOL, ISIN and LEI product strategy

  • This will include the development of new products and capabilities and oversight of their successful delivery to clients from inception to execution and their on-going performance monitoring

  • The role will be expected to be held up as an example of first-class product development and innovation, working in a joined-up way across all LSEG divisions

  • Answer to a range of stakeholders including committee members internally and customers externally

 

 

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

       Develop and communicate the product vision and strategy

       Develop new products and differentiated capabilities

       Drive revenue generation to expand the existing c185m revenue

       Develop and drive go-to-market strategies with Sales and Engineering

       Ensure data delivery is harmonised with the Group strategy

       Drive increased sales by meeting customers where they are, including delivery channels, AI, etc

       Drive client engagement with a solutions-based product development approach and co-creation of products with our customers

       Actively explore and recommend inorganic growth opportunities

       Actively manage prioritisation of product development and initiative delivery, balancing competing demands of cost and revenue generation

 

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

       Experience driving a product strategy that meets customer needs and drives revenue higher

       Track record of growing, hiring and coaching high potential talent to create a strong pipeline

       Proven ability to lead teams through significant change, maintaining high engagement and output

       Deep familiarity with regulatory issues affecting data businesses

       Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners, using influence and trust to drive alignment

       Ability to work well within a matrix organisation with strong management, influencing and negotiation skills

       Self-starter with a commitment to excellence and a positive approach

       Quantitative and analytical skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritise and project manage effectively

       Driven by curiosity always asking the next question, exploring new possibilities, and turning insight into better products for our customers

       Enterprise Leadership in supporting wider DSM and Group goals

 

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

       Detailed knowledge of product lifecycle management and software development principles, change management lifecycle, Enterprise Risk Management framework

       Consistent track record of bringing solutions to market with the ability to get involved in both high and lower-level technical challenges that impact development and delivery

       Deep understanding of delivery methodologies and assurance frameworks

       Experience translating business strategy, analysis, and client challenges into consumer facing digital products

       Excellent strategy building skills, knowledge of management reporting and ability to control and focus on client service, revenues, and costs

 

 

  • Answer to a range of stakeholders including committee members internally and customers externally
