LCHSA is a central counterparty (CCP) established in France. It offers central clearing services across 3 business lines: RepoClear, CDSClear and DigitalAssetClear. RepoClear is the central clearing service leader in the EU on European government debts, repurchase agreement and global collateral. CCPs are financial market infrastructures highly supervised.

Responsibilities:

As a member of the LCH SA COO department, you will become part of the PM/PMO team.

The role of the LCH SA COO department is to coordinate LCH SAs daily business operations, implement the business strategies and optimize the organizations operational capabilities.

The LCH SA Programme Manager will be in charge to lead LCH SA key critical initiatives and major change programmes, drives the direction and delivery of assigned, high-risk programmes to achieve strategic objectives and transformational change whether those transformation changes are regulatory, business, process improvement or technology driven.

Your responsibilities will consist of:

  • Handles sophisticated, large-scale and/or high-risk projects/programmes that involve multiple senior internal and external partners
  • Identifies and manages project / programmes dependencies
  • Monitors overall progress with particular focus on budgets, key milestones, resources, and dependencies
  • Manages the budget request process and performs regular financial reviews, tracking and measuring financial performance against plan and validating financial forecasts
  • Leads the development of project artifacts, coordinated project plans, resource and contingency plans, ensuring they are scoped and documented and that risk management processes are in place
  • Provides overall leadership, guidance and technical expertise to manage all aspects of a programme, project or initiative, including requirements analysis, business case creation, planning and execution
  • Anticipates issues and delays and evaluates trade-offs between project size, complexity, cost, risk etc. effectively assessing and resolving high-priority project risks
  • Promotes and fosters collaboration across broad categories of stakeholders (including customers), leading cross-functional meetings and gaining commitments to ensure corrective actions take place if required
  • Aligns team priorities and activity to the strategic delivery and transformation direction, ensuring prioritisation of key projects and devising new ideas and initiatives to support the organization
  • Leads multiple workstreams and large project teams throughout the project lifecycle delivering results that meet the success parameters stated in the business case
  • Ensures all projects adhere to LSEG Group Standards for project methodology, governance and risk management.
  • Provides Projects/Programmes reporting and status to senior management

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years of proven experience with 5 years in a similar role in banking industry
  • Experience of driving business and technology strategic change initiatives
  • Understands different approaches to project management (e.g. Agile, Waterfall etc.) and ensures flexibility to deliver and complete within different ways of working. Knowledge in technology and operations in investment bank industry
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and results driven
  • Experience of working in a complex, changing and matrix reporting environment
  • Have the ability to clearly communicate sophisticated concepts to various stakeholders (e.g. internal team, board members);
  • Excellent decision-making abilities and use of independent judgment
  • Good product knowledge
  • Excellent written and verbal English and French communication skills
