Responsibilities will include:

  • Build, lead and forecast a robust sales pipeline through proactive prospecting, introducer relationships, and focused CRM usage (e.g., Salesforce), ensuring accurate forecasting and full visibility across the sales cycle.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with product, compliance, finance, and marketing to shape customer‑centric propositions that meet client needs and regulatory requirements, driving a cohesive and scalable sales approach.
  • Set, monitor, and achieve ambitious sales targets and KPIs, mentoring and encouraging a high‑performing sales team while fostering a high‑performance, results‑driven culture built on collaboration, accountability, and customer centricity.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of market trends, competitor activity and emerging fintech developments to refine strategies, anticipate client needs and sustain a competitive edge.

About us:

What you’ll need:

  • Proven record of understanding and selling intricate technological offerings to C-level collaborators and navigate multi-participant buying processes.
  • Experience building and scaling sales teams, with a focus on coaching and performance management.
  • Strong understanding of UK/EU payment regulations and (e.g., PSD2, FCA guidelines), schemes and emerging fintech trends.
  • Understand sector-specific landscapes and trends.
  • Proven success in consultative solution selling, with a track record of winning large corporate clients.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce or similar) and data-driven pipeline management.

About working for us:

Our ambition is to be the leading UK business for diversity, equity and inclusion supporting our customers, colleagues and communities and we’re committed to creating an environment in which everyone can thrive, learn and develop.

We were one of the first major organisations to set goals on diversity in senior roles, create a menopause health package, and a dedicated Working with Cancer Initiative.

We offer reasonable workplace adjustments for colleagues with disabilities, including flexibility in office attendance, location and working patterns. And, as a Disability Confident Leader, we guarantee interviews for a fair and proportionate number of applicants who meet the minimum criteria for the role with a disability, long-term health or neurodivergent condition through the Disability Confident Scheme.

We provide reasonable adjustments throughout the recruitment process to reduce or remove barriers. Just let us know what you need.

We also offer a wide-ranging benefits package, which includes:

  • A generous pension contribution of up to 15%
  • An annual performance-related bonus
  • Share schemes including free shares
  • Benefits you can adapt to your lifestyle, such as discounted shopping
