Job Description

Job Title: Senior Software Engineer Mobile (iOS)
Location: London
Salary: 76,760 - 95,950
Hours:  Full time
Working Pattern: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites. Colleagues with disabilities can be supported with workplace adjustments including hybrid working expectations in line with our Flexibility Works policy.

What youll be doing

In this role, youll partner with a cross-functional team to design, build and ship small, high-quality features, using strong iOS engineering skills to deliver innovative, customer-facing experiences. Along the way, youll sweat the details, spot opportunities to add extra value for users, and keep the app fast and reliable by fixing bugs and continuously improving performance. The role is to support the integration of Curve into LBG and the launch of the Lloyds Wallet and Pi3 too.

Youre an exceptional developer of mobile applications with a solid focus on iOS. You dont just put your head down and code. Youre constantly seeking a better way to do things, a cleaner, more intuitive interaction. Youve studied the most popular mobile apps and you have well-articulated theories about why they are designed the way they are. You know what makes these apps so effective and what you would do to make the Curve app even better.

This position requires collaboration with designers, product managers and other team members of our engineering team. If youre thrilled by the idea of ownership, passionate about creating new features and services from scratch, and think you can manage the ambiguity and pace, we would love to hear from you.
