We're a successful team and we're looking for you to come and join us where you'll be responsible for leading HGPs investment portfolio managed by HGPs Birmingham office. Investments cover residential projects across the Midlands & Wales.

What youll be doing

  • Supporting the team to lead HGP investments alongside housebuilders and developers across a range of living sector tenures. This includes private for sale, private rental (BTR and co-living), student, and retirement living.
  • Working with residential development management teams and external advisers to oversee and support the successful build out and investment exit of residential developments. Hold management teams to account / a budget.
  • Analysis of scheme progress reports from HGP appointed 3rd party advisors and liaising with advisors and HGP partners to ensure accuracy and integrity of reporting.
  • Take responsibility for collating and analysing HGP partners monthly MI on developments HGP has invested in and visit development sites to monitor build and sales/leasing and operational performance. Monitoring, forecasting, and supporting partners in the delivery of income, loan repatriation, and profit for individual investments.
  • A key function of this role is to support HGP Investment Directors in identifying opportunities to add value or identify future challenges during the development process and to collaborate with the whole team to implement strategies from the outset that ensure we handle these challenges and opportunities to achieve the best result.

What youll need

  • Effective oral and written communication at all levels and across different audiences.
  • Adept in both internal and external partner management to deliver results.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective regional relationships across housebuilders / developers, advisors, and lenders.
  • Strong numerical literacy and financial analysis, including cash flow modelling.
  • Relevant sector experience in residential property development and/ or residential property finance (debt or equity) would be preferred but not a pre-requisite.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Structuring & Transacting Skills including legal documentation.#
  • Valuation, costs, management diligence skills.
  • Asset management.
  • Financial analysis and modelling financial health of counterparty & development appraisal sensitivities and cashflow
