Legal & General is seeking a Product Taxes Manager to support tax business partnering and provide technical expertise across the Group's Retail Product offering. The role involves providing strategic tax advice, ensuring compliance, and supporting various business initiatives.
Primary responsibilities include supporting the Head of Product Taxes by providing tax business partnering and advice on business initiatives, tax exposures, and risks. The role involves offering tax and technical support for Product Tax compliance and reporting to customers and HMRC.
The ideal candidate should have a recognized professional financial qualification like CTA, AIIT, CA, or ACA with at least 4 years of post-qualifying experience. Strong knowledge of UK Tax Acts, regulations, and HMRC guidance is essential, particularly for life & pensions and savings product taxes. The candidate must demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to review data, anticipate problems, and provide clear technical recommendations.
