KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance & Accounting organization.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret financial data to uncover underlying drivers and craft compelling narratives that clearly present findings and support informed decision-making
- Effectively manage multiple priorities and oversee collaboration with offshore team members, navigating and providing clarity amidst ambiguous data to drive project success
- Act as a trusted business advisor by using business intellectual curiosity to suggest and test hypotheses through data analysis, helping identify potential business issues and recommend practical next steps
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of reporting while identifying emerging trends and potential risks
- Foster a continuous improvement mindset by identifying opportunities to streamline work, adopting AI and digital solutions, and engaging in team-based problem solving to enhance overall efficiency and collaboration
- Contribute to the firm's transformation initiatives by embracing new processes, participating actively in modernizing efforts and sharing ideas for process improvement and automation
Qualifications:
- Minimum three years of financial analyst or similar experience required; preferably from a professional services firm
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required
- Proficiency in SQL and the Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint required
- Experience with Alteryx, Power BI, Hyperion Financial Management, and Oracle Planning preferred
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
