Full Job Description
Participate in the execution of audit engagements for clients, including Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) registrants. Review and analyze U.S. GAAP financial statements and financial projections. Prepare and review audit work papers and document audit procedures. Assist with audit planning and risk assessment. Communicate accounting and audit issues to clients. Understand and utilize KPMG's Audit Methodology.
WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m.)
LICENSE REQUIREMENT:
CPA license required.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENT:
Up to 10% travel to various domestic locations per business need.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field plus five (5) years of experience in the offered position or a related occupation. Alternatively, employer will accept a master's degree plus two (2) years of experience. Two (2) years of experience must include: Reviewing SEC filings and researching technical accounting issues related to U.S. GAAP and IFRS; Auditing accounting estimates in accordance with ASC Topic 326; IFRS; ISA; J-SOX; and AICPA auditing standards. Telecommuting may be permitted within commutable distance from the office location depending on business need.
