Full Job Description

Provide state and local tax services to multi-state clients in a range of industries.Review multi-state and local tax returns. Research state and local tax compliance issues. Calculate tax withholding, apportionment, andallocations for clients, including partnerships.Prepare clients for discussionswith tax auditors. Represent clients at tax hearings and appeal meetings. Review and analyze income andbalance sheet items related tostate and local tax. Research anddraft technical memoranda regarding income and franchise tax questions.Demonstrate in-depth taxaccounting knowledge. Establish and maintain client relationships andprofessional networks.

WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.5:00 p.m.)

JOBREQUIREMENTS:


Must have a Master's degree or foreignequivalent in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Economics, Business Administration,Commerce, or a related field, and 2 years of related work experience;OR a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent inAccounting, Finance, Taxation, Economics, Business Administration, Commerce,or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor's, progressiverelated work experience.

Of the required experience, must have 2 yearsof experience with the following: Preparing and reviewing stateand local tax returns; Providing multi-state tax compliance services; Analyzingand calculating partnership state tax withholding; and Reporting partnershipapportionment and state tax allocations.

Telecommuting may be permitted withincommutable distance from the office location depending on businessneed.

Travel to various locations throughout theU.S. required up to 20%.

SALARY: $146,058 - $197,600 per year
