Full Job Description
Provide partnerships,corporations, and S-corporations with planning, consulting, and complianceservices related to federal, state, and local tax. Review tax provisions,allocations, carried interest, and adjustments for clients. Review federal,state, and local tax returns for clients. Understand, analyze, research, andapply U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) in the context ofclients' tax issues. Assess the tax impact of business transactions, developpositions to support tax conclusions, and assist leadership with recommendingtax planning strategies to clients. Monitor the financial risk and performanceof tax engagements by tracking billing, collections, and progress againstbudget. Demonstrate in-depth tax accounting knowledge. Pursue businessdevelopment opportunities. Establish and maintain client relationships andprofessional networks.
WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours perweek, M-F (9:00 a.m.5:00 p.m.)
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Must have aMaster's degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Taxation,Economics, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field, and 2 yearsof related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent inAccounting, Finance, Taxation, Economics, Business Administration, Commerce, ora related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor's, progressive related workexperience.
Of the requiredexperience, must have 2 years of experience with the following: Applying U.S.GAAP; Providing tax advisory and compliance services; Analyzing U.S. federaltax issues; Preparing and reviewing federal, state, and local income taxreturns; Utilizing tax software, including GoSystem Tax RS; Assisting clientswith carried interest and allocations, including adjustments based on sections704(c), 743, and 734; and Assisting with day-to-day oversight of clientportfolios involving tax planning, consulting, and compliance with federal,state, and local tax requirements.
Travel tovarious locations throughout the US is required up to 20%.
Telecommutingmay be permitted within commutable distance from the office location dependingon business need.

SALARY: $120,058 - $188,200 per year
