Join KPMG's Capital Solutions team within Audit and Assurance as an Associate in Tax Securitization, collaborating with an inclusive, diverse team to evaluate structured debt instruments from accounting, finance, tax and systems perspectives and to assist with income computations that impact yield to maturity and present value using projected cash flows. You will work with large data sets and parse multiple data sources to identify incremental improvements using Excel, VBA and Alteryx, and assist in system development, enhancement and testing of proprietary software used for debt products. You will also research and report on business concepts including accounting, finance, federal and some international income tax matters related to income recognition, expense deduction, debt instruments including discounts and premiums, and the entities holding and issuing these securities. The role requires at least one year of relevant experience in financial services, consulting or accounting, a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's or CPA preferred), advanced Excel skills, and the ability to travel up to 10%; candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
