What you will do

• Drive end-to-end product design, from early discovery and concepting to prototyping and polished interfaces

• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other designers to develop innovative solutions that meet user needs and business goals

• Conduct research and apply user insights to inform design decisions

• Build advanced prototypes to explore, validate, and communicate design ideas

• Elevate design quality across your product team, providing clarity on design direction and opportunities

• Contribute to the evolution of Klarna’s design systems and best practices

Who you are

• Extensive experience leading product design in cross-functional teams

• High proficiency in Figma, with experience using Figma Make

• Strong ability to communicate design decisions clearly to a wide range of stakeholders

• Skilled in building prototypes to test hypotheses and illustrate design concepts

• Demonstrated ability to simplify complex problems and influence product strategy through design

Awesome to have

• Experience using Cursor or other AI-enhanced design/development tools

• Background working in fast-paced environments or at high-growth tech companies

• Familiarity with design systems and scaling design across multiple products or platforms

• Interest in contributing to team culture, mentorship, and design critiques
