POSITION OVERVIEW
The Assistant Vice President will support a wide range of Treasury Operations functions for the insurance business. The successful candidate must manage responsibilities in a fast-paced environment for multiple legal entities while supporting initiatives to enhance the existing functions to meet the rapidly changing needs of the business.
Manage and develop payment controls for daily processing and straight through processing.
Approve internal fundings and external payments to third parties
Expand connectivity between TMS and banking partners
Oversee third party servicers banking capabilities
Develop and maintain centralized processes to handle reporting initiatives including ad hoc requests
Participate in company-wide initiatives/projects to improve processes and infrastructure including workflow automation, liquidity reporting, and variance analysis
Prepare and present materials to Senior Management and external counterparties
QUALIFICATIONS
Undergraduate degree required with a minimum of 7 years work experience in a Treasury or Financial Operations Role
Knowledge of treasury systems (i.e. Kyriba or other banking platforms) is required
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Visio
Proactively addresses issues that may impact outcome of initiatives
Prior experience implementing financial controls in compliance with SOX a strong plus
Prior experience with Tableau a strong plus
Prior experience in insurance industry a strong plus
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple responsibilities
Ability to identify, communicate, and resolve key issues
Positive attitude even when faced with difficult obstacles, issues or challenges
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Commercial mind set with an entrepreneurial spirit
This is the expected annual base salary range for this Boston-based position. Actual salaries may vary based on factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on factors such as individual and team performance.
