We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President to join our Know Your Customer Corporate and Investment Banking Markets Middle Office team.

As Markets Middle Office Vice President within the Wholesale Know Your Customer (KYC) Operations Markets Middle Office team you will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end KYC processes for our Markets business, driving operational excellence, and championing digital transformation initiatives. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of client onboarding and lifecycle management, leveraging advanced technologies and fostering strong relationships across internal and external stakeholders.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the KYC team supporting CIB Markets, ensuring timely and accurate client onboarding, periodic reviews, and remediation activities.
  • Oversee operational risk management, quality assurance, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Champion the adoption of AI, machine learning, and automation to enhance KYC processes and digital client journeys.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to design and implement digital solutions that improve client experience and operational effectiveness.
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation.
  • Lead initiatives to streamline and digitize client onboarding and lifecycle management, ensuring a seamless and client-centric experience.
  • Analyze client feedback and process data to identify pain points and implement targeted improvements
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with front office, compliance, technology, and external partners.
  • Act as a key point of contact for senior stakeholders, providing updates on KYC performance, risks, and strategic initiatives.
  • Represent the Middle Office in governance forums, regulatory meetings, and industry events.
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Managerial experience in KYC, client onboarding, middle office or similar roles within financial services.
  • Proven track record of leading teams and managing complex operational processes.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing AI, machine learning, or automation solutions in a financial services environment.
  • Experience in designing and optimizing digital client journeys.
  • Strong understanding of KYC regulations, operational risk, and compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML technologies, digital platforms, and data analytics tools.
  • Proficiency in project management and process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Experience in managing senior client and regulatory relationships.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions.\
  • Strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and digital transformation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
