As a Transactions Specialist IV in Global Document Services, you will serve as a lead within the Shipping and Receiving Department, coordinating workflow and supporting a team of Transactions Specialists. You will assign tasks, ensure SLAs are met, and foster a safe, organized, and efficient environment. You will also operate warehouse equipment, maintain inventory, and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.

Job responsibilities

  • Coordinate workflow and assign tasks to ensure SLAs are consistently met.
  • Lead, train, and cross-train team members within the Warehouse and Dispatch areas.
  • Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other powered industrial lift equipment to load and unload trucks, and move materials safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse.
  • Use shrink wrap and banding devices to prepare pallets for shipment.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, including conducting audits and reconciling volumes.
  • Monitor and respond to email communications promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, SOPs, and record retention policies, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Perform minor equipment maintenance as required.
  • Communicate with vendors regarding incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Escalate issues to management and Client Services as needed, and create incident tickets for technology issues as needed.
  • Manifest mail files and generate shipping labels as required.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong leadership and effective communication skills.
  • Alpha/numeric data entry and typing skills with excellent accuracy.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
  • Able to lift up to 70 lbs.
  • Comfortable standing, bending, and carrying heavy materials for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Willingness to cross-train within the team and across departments.
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and procedures.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Prior experience leading teams in a warehouse, print production or distribution environment.
  • Experience with mail dispatch systems and handling mail rejects.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform minor equipment maintenance.
  • Experience with inventory audits and warehouse organization.
  • Experience operating electric-powered industrial lift trucks.

Work Schedule:
Candidates must be willing and able to work schedules during our operating hours. We are a 24/7 operation and you must be willing to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

 

Promote workflow coordination, improve shipping and receiving, and foster teamwork within the print production and distribution team.
