As a Sales Officer Vice President within the Diversified Industrials segment of the Global Commercial Bank, you will be responsible for promoting new business growth and deepening client relationships. This role focuses on delivering Trade & Working Capital Finance solutions to mid- and large-cap clients, leveraging industry expertise and a consultative approach to meet client needs.
Trade & Working Capital (T&WC) is a strategic growth business within Payments. The line of business structures and executes both Core Trade and Structured Working Capital solutions for clients. Products/Structures include Supply Chain Finance, Receivables Finance, Sales Finance, Inventory Finance, Export Agency Finance, Letters of Credit, Trade Loans, and Bills of Exchange / Promissory Notes.
Job responsibilities
- Originate and execute Trade & Working Capital Finance transactions for Diversified Industrials clients
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including CFOs, Treasurers, and Heads of Procurement
- Identify client needs and deliver tailored solutions across supply chain finance, receivables finance, and other working capital products
- Collaborate with product, credit, and coverage teams to structure and close complex transactions
- Drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets through proactive client engagement and strategic account planning
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory developments, and competitive landscape to inform client strategy
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or relevant advanced degree
- 5+ years of experience in sales, relationship management, or product origination within Trade & Working Capital Finance or related banking areas
- Deep understanding of the Diversified Industrials sector and its working capital needs
- Proven track record of delivering results in a client-facing role
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
