As a Technical Project Manager III at JPMorgan Chase in Corporate - AIML Data Platforms, you will help lead complex technology projects and programs that drive business goals and create value for clients, employees, and stakeholders. Job responsibilities
- Develops and executes comprehensive project plans, incorporating technical requirements, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure timely and successful delivery of technology projects
- Identifies and mitigates project risks, proactively addressing potential roadblocks and implementing risk management strategies to minimize impact on project outcomes
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including software development, quality assurance, and business stakeholders, to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals
- Utilizes technical fluency to evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, platforms, and vendor products for project implementation
- Monitors project progress, adjusting plans and schedules as needed, and providing regular status updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and effective communication throughout the project or program lifecycle
- Demonstrates enthusiasm and ambition by proactively taking ownership of highly visible, business-critical project deliveries, driving initiatives with a commitment to excellence and impactful results
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated proficiency in applying analytical reasoning and problem-solving techniques to break down business, technical, or operational objectives into manageable tasks and activities
- Proven experience leading through the project lifecycle management, including influencing decision makers and adapting to changes as business needs evolve
- Strong technical fluency, with familiarity in current and relevant platforms, software tools, and technologies
- Proficient in stakeholder management, with a track record of establishing productive working relationships and driving mutually beneficial outcomes
- Hands-on individual contributor, actively engaging in project deliverables and technical execution
- Demonstrated ownership of complex projects end-to-end with limited supervision, ensuring accountability for outcomes
- Operates in details and communicates clearly by adjusting the content of the communication according to the audience
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
- Experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Skilled in synthesizing complex information and presenting actionable insights to diverse stakeholders
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience driving infrastructure-related initiatives, with a strong emphasis on AWS products and services, while also supporting broader cloud technology efforts
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of key project management standards and processes, including project planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery, with proficiency in applying industry best practices to ensure successful outcomes
- Prior exposure to large-scale data platforms or AI and ML technologies
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools for project tracking and delivery
