Location: Berlin, Germany

As (Senior) Sponsorship & Marketing Activation Manager, you will activate culturally relevant sponsorship partnerships in Germany to bring Chase closer to consumers and make the brand locally relevant. You will work closely with rights holders, creative and partnership agencies, and internal marketing teams to embed sponsorship assets across channels. You will maximize partnership impact by integrating activity with broader marketing initiatives and by identifying future opportunities with existing or new partners. Operational execution of social purpose initiatives with partners or local organizations is part of this remit. This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Vice President, Brand & Campaigns, with a close working relationship to the central sponsorship team.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sponsorship initiatives that elevate brand presence and consumer engagement in Germany.
  • Translate central strategy into local activation calendars, asset plans, and on-the-ground delivery.
  • Coordinate partnership agencies to ensure quality and timely execution.
  • Build strong relationships with rights holders to maximize partnership success.
  • Integrate partnership activations across channels and campaigns, ensuring consistent storytelling.
  • Plan and deliver experiential events, including hospitality moments, partner days, and webinars.
  • Manage partner benefit packages, including ticketing, accreditation, and merchandise, in compliance with policies.
  • Collaborate with marketing, PR, and central sponsorship teams to align activation plans.
  • Oversee rights and assets, including content approvals and co-branded materials.
  • Analyze consumer research and market trends to inform activation strategies.
  • Track and review impact, sharing recommendations for optimization.
  • Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

    • 5+ years’ experience delivering brand, product, or sponsorship/partnership campaigns for wellknown consumer brands with nationwide reach.
    • University degree with a marketing focus (or equivalent experience).
    • Demonstrable knowledge of sports marketing and sponsorship principles and strategies.
    • Strong experience coordinating external agencies and internal stakeholders.
    • High data literacy and comfort interpreting insights to inform optimization.
    • Attention to detail and strong project management processes; able to manage multiple projects, stakeholders, and priorities simultaneously.
    • Calm under pressure with a positive, solution-oriented attitude and proactive communication.
    • Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills; confident presenting plans and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
    • Passion for culture drivers in Germany, including sports and entertainment.
    • Fluent communication skills in German and English, written and verbal.

    Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

    • Experience in multinational organizations with central guidelines and local execution.
    • Familiarity with regulated sectors is a plus.
