As a Senior Product Associate in Consumer Bank, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide exceptional value. In partnering with other leaders on the team, you will support the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.

 

Job responsibilities

  • Develop a product strategy and product vision that delivers exceptional value to customers.
  • Collaborate with the Agile Product Owner/Team to develop new product features and specifications.
  • Manage discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap.
  • Own, maintain, and develop a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition.
  • Partner with Finance/Treasury in managing product pricing and rates to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
  • Monitor market trends and conduct competitor analysis to inform product development.
  • Gather customer feedback to identify opportunities for product enhancements.
  • Ensure sound controls and compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain strong connections with partners.
  • Track key success metrics to assess product performance.
  • Advocate for the voice of the customer in product discussions.

 

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • 3+ years of Retail Banking / Financial Services experience
  • 3+ years of product / program management experience
  • Solid understanding of the product development life cycle, including familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive process improvements.
  • Well-organized and detail-oriented with a structured approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and present ideas clearly.
  • Team player who can build relationships and collaborate across different teams and functions.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and change in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to prioritize and communicate effectively.
  • Self-motivated individual demonstrating initiative, flexibility, and reliability while working with moderate supervision.
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm, drive, and a proactive approach to tasks.
