As a Senior Analytics Solutions Associate in the Strategy, Innovation & Governance Data team within Payments Operations, you will translate business needs into data insights, visualizations, and operational reporting that support day-to-day execution and leadership decisions. You will work with partners across product and operations to design, build, test, and deliver high-quality dashboards and analyses. You will help us strengthen data standards, reduce operational risk, and improve processes through root-cause analysis and continuous improvement.
Job responsibilities
Analyze business requirements and convert them into clear analytical deliverablesDesign and build dashboards, visualizations, and operational reporting to support management decisionsDevelop and validate data queries, datasets, and logic across multiple data sourcesTest and deliver high-quality insights using defined team standards and controlsPartner with Product Owners and Operations to refine requirements and implement new capabilitiesInterpret operational performance trends and summarize findings for stakeholders at multiple levelsPerform ad hoc analyses to answer time-sensitive business questionsIdentify data quality issues and recommend corrective actionsDrive continuous improvement through root-cause analysis and process optimizationContribute within an agile delivery model to plan, prioritize, and execute workLearn and apply new tools and techniques as the teams capabilities evolveRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Bachelors or Masters degree in a quantitative field, or equivalent education and/or relevant business experienceMinimum 7 years of experience in business analysis or business application design and developmentMinimum 5 years of hands-on experience using SQL and at least one programming/analytics tool such as Python or Alteryx in a professional settingWorking knowledge of banking operations, ideally including payment processingAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Excel and PowerPoint)Strong understanding of relational database concepts and data modeling fundamentalsExperience building business intelligence reporting and visualizations using tools such as Tableau or Business ObjectsFamiliarity with agile delivery and/or the software development life cycleStrong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate requirements between business and technology teamsDemonstrated ability to synthesize analysis into clear, audience-appropriate takeaways and visualsProven ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently under deadlines, and collaborate effectively across teamsPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
