- Engage and review external appraisals on commercial and multifamily residential properties in connection with real estate related financial transactionsReview and analyze real estate valuation appraisal reports in compliance with Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP), FIRREA, internal appraisal requirements and/or Agency guidelinesComplete appraisal reviews to JPMC’s minimum appraisal and evaluation standards and appropriate regulatory guidelinesRequired Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- State Certified General Real Estate AppraiserMinimum 10 years of appraisal/review experience including minimum 5 years of experience reviewing commercial appraisal reports.Extensive appraisal/review experience on a wide variety of both commercial and multifamily property types OR extensive appraisal/review experience on Agency (both Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac) multifamily assignments.Real estate appraisal courses equivalent to those required for the MAI designationExcellent mathematical and communication skills, both verbal and writtenProficiency with Microsoft Office suite and Argus EnterpriseAbility to manage multiple projects at one timeMust be self-motivated and be able to meet deadlines.Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- Bachelor’s degreeAn MAI or equivalent professional appraisal designationPrevious work experience in a banking/regulatory environment
