Full Job Description

Location: New York, NY, United States

Bring your expertise to JPMorgan Chase. As part of Risk Management and Compliance, you are at the center of keeping JPMorgan Chase strong and resilient. You help the firm grow its business in a responsible way by anticipating new and emerging risks, and using your expert judgement to solve real-world challenges that impact our company, customers and communities. Our culture in Risk Management and Compliance is all about thinking outside the box, challenging the status quo and striving to be best-in-class.

As a Vice President in the Firmwide Risk Identification team, you will work at the intersection of risk identification, scenario design and capital stress testing, contributing to the firms Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR) submissions. You will partner across lines of business and corporate functions, bringing structure to ambiguity, balancing technical execution with clear communication, sound judgment, and consistent follow-through when priorities compete. You will gain exposure to senior stakeholders and governance forums across Risk Management and Finance, and you may partner with technology teams to implement relevant solutions (for example, automation or AI/LLM) where they add clear value. Through this work, the position offers a unique opportunity to build a broader set of technical and stakeholder management skills while developing relationships across Risk Management & Compliance and Finance.

Job Responsibilities

  • Own and execute assigned regulatory capital stress testing deliverables and timelines, ensuring readiness for internal governance and external submission. Examples include: supporting scenario-related content development, coordinating inputs and approvals across partners and producing high-quality outputs that directly support the firms regulatory submission package, with clear documentation and auditability.
  • Maintain process governance, including procedures, controls, evidence, and change tracking to support credible, repeatable execution.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement, including standardization, simplification, and stronger quality checks.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Strong partnership skills, including influencing without authority and building alignment across teams with different priorities.
  • Sound judgment and the ability to translate ambiguous requirements into plain-language context and clear asks.
  • Clear written and verbal communication, with the ability to tailor messages for senior stakeholders and cross-functional audiences.
  • Program and process management capability, including disciplined planning, documentation, and control-oriented execution.
  • Strong quality orientation and attention to detail, balanced with the ability to prioritize under time constraints.
  • Proficiency with common productivity tools used for analysis and documentation (for example, Excel).
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Experience with risk identification and scenario design in a financial services setting, including regulatory submission support.
  • Experience partnering with technology teams on automation, workflow tooling, or artificial intelligence use cases in a controlled environment.
  • Advanced degree or relevant professional certifications.
