As an Executive Director in the Risk and Compliance Financial Planning and Analysis team, you will drive comprehensive financial analysis and reporting and lead initiatives in report automation, dashboard development, and process improvement.  Your work will support key business reviews and guide decisions on operating expenses and headcount.  Your strong financial acumen, strategic thinking, and leadership skills will be vital to your success in the role.

Job Responsibilities 

  • Own core financial planning and analysis activities, including budgeting, forecasting, monthly financial close, incoming allocations, and senior management reviews.
  • Proactively engage stakeholders across the broader finance and business management organization to develop monthly financial forecast and annual budget.
  • Oversee/Conduct monthly financial reviews, providing clear explanations of financial and headcount variances.
  • Construct ad-hoc financial analytics to support critical priorities and enable thoughtful senior management decision making.
  • Oversee the development and execution of cost allocation methodologies to achieve accurate distribution of expenses across business units and functions.
  • Demonstrate strategic thinking and understand how decisions impact the organization as a whole, managing through change and adapting to shifting business needs.
  • Lead a team of FP&A professionals, developing talent, managing performance, and facilitating timely high-quality delivery.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills 

  • 10+ years of relevant experience with a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field.
  • Proficient in enterprise financial systems to support budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and data-driven insights.
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills for developing executive-level presentations that clearly communicate financial insights, strategic recommendations, and business performance to senior stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to build strong partnerships across diverse teams, communicate complex financial concepts clearly to stakeholders at all levels, and influence decision-makers to drive alignment on strategic priorities.
  • Experienced in building, leading, and managing high-performing teams by recruiting top talent, fostering professional development, and driving collaboration to achieve business objectives. 
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive financial information, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with company policies at all times.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills 

  • Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Alteryx).
  • Experience with SAP, Oracle, Annaplan, or Databricks.
