As a Transaction Processing Specialist within Wholesale Payments Operations, you ensure end-to-end transaction management activities are completed on time while resolving exceptions and client inquiries. You provide subject matter expertise to clients and internal stakeholders, with a strong focus on accuracy, controls, and risk awareness. You also support regulatory reporting and remediation activities while driving process improvement and automation.
Job Responsibilities
- Execute assigned transaction processing tasks accurately and within required deadlines.
- Resolve exceptions, breaks, and client inquiries through timely investigation and follow-through.
- Provide subject matter expertise and clear guidance on transaction management processes and requirements.
- Manage assigned work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining productivity and quality.
- Identify operational issues and risks early, escalating appropriately with a control-first mindset.
- Complete daily regulatory reporting and remediation activities in accordance with defined procedures.
- Lead process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce operational risk.
Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities
- Bachelors degree
- Strong understanding of legal language to interpret documents and assess impact to the firm
- Strong analytical, oral, and written communication skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong computer skills including MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
