J.P. Morgan Commercial Investment Bank is a global leader in investment and wealth management, serving institutions, high-net-worth individuals, and retail investors worldwide.

As a Project Manager within Global Cash Operations Business Enablement, you will build and run a scalable governance framework that strengthens control health, mitigates risk, and improves operational resiliency across legal entities and geographies. You will orchestrate weekly-to-global governance cadences, surface issues early, and drive root-cause remediation through clear escalation, action tracking, and leadership-ready narratives. You will modernize the governance operating model through automation and data-driven insights, partnering closely with Controls, Risk, Compliance, Audit, Legal, Technology, and Operations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end governance rhythm for Payments Operations across weekly, monthly, and global reviews, including issue management, action tracking, and escalation pathways.
  • Synthesize complex inputs into concise, decision-ready narratives and executive materials aligned to the GCO governance model.
  • Build deep knowledge of relevant systems, processes, and regulatory requirements, partnering with Payments leaders, Regulatory Operations, and Controls Managers.
  • Facilitate governance forums through rigorous data collation, critical analysis, and root-cause investigation to drive corrective and preventative outcomes.
  • Design and automate reporting, controls monitoring, and data quality checks using Alteryx to reduce manual effort and improve data quality.
  • Develop Tableau dashboards and visualizations to enhance transparency, accelerate decision-making, and improve insight generation.
  • Identify control weaknesses and rationalization opportunities, establishing corrective action plans and validating effectiveness post-implementation.
  • Govern outsourced arrangements and vendor-related controls, monitoring performance, risk, and compliance within the global framework.
  • Strengthen access management and information ownership controls, verifying entitlements are appropriate, timely, and policy-compliant.
  • Support internal and external audits and regulatory engagements by coordinating complete, accurate evidence and ensuring consistent responses across stakeholders.

Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities

  • Influencing and stakeholder leadership across functions, regions, and senior levels
  • Strong written and verbal communication, meeting facilitation, and management storytelling
  • Ability to create concise executive materials and high-quality slides at pace
  • Sound judgement, independent execution, prioritization under pressure, and disciplined follow-through
  • Effective escalation and closure-oriented issue management
  • Comfort operating in fast-paced, unstructured, multitime zone environments
  • Strong ownership mindset and attention to quality and control evidence
  • Ability to build partnerships, break down silos, and adapt influencing style to context
  • Hands-on Alteryx experience designing and deploying workflows for data manipulation, controls monitoring, and reporting automation
  • Ability to analyze complex datasets and translate insights into actionable outcomes

Preferred qualifications, skills, and capabilities

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with a constructive challenge mindset; advanced data manipulation and analytics translating large datasets into senior leader decision narratives
  • Proficiency in Tableau for dashboarding and data storytelling; ability to pair Alteryx and Tableau to deliver minimal, high-impact data supporting key messages
  • Experience using AI/ML-enabled tools for insight generation and reporting; forward-looking approach to emerging risks, operational demands, and regulatory change
  • Knowledge of financial products, banking fundamentals, and regulatory environment; demonstrated risk and controls mindset with project management capability across concurrent workstreams, clear communication, and timely escalation
