As a Product Control Analyst in our Finance team, you will support trading desks and financial controllers by ensuring P&L reporting, balance sheet oversight, and month-end close processes are completed accurately and on time. You will analyze financial results, investigate drivers and variances, and coordinate with key partners to resolve control and reporting issues. Your work will help maintain a strong control environment and support business initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
Assist with P&L reporting and month-end close processesProduce, consolidate, and analyze daily, monthly, and yearly P&L informationProvide detailed analysis and reporting to desk heads, business managers, and senior finance managementPartner with the business to implement robust controls and support new initiativesCoordinate with front and back office support functions to resolve control and reporting issues accurately and on timeSupport investigation and resolution of breaks and discrepancies related to P&L, balance sheet, and trade capture where applicableServe as an analytical and project support resource for product control, including process improvement initiativesHandle ad hoc requests and time-sensitive analysis as neededRequired Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related areaMinimum 2 years of experience in accounting, product control, financial control, or a related areaExperience with P&L reporting and month-end close processesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentStrong Microsoft Excel skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrated interest in challenging current processes and driving improvementsPreferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
