As a Private Equity Investment Analyst within our Private Equity Group, you will be responsible for supporting investment underwriting, due diligence, legal closing, and ongoing portfolio monitoring across primaries and co-investments, while helping ensure timely execution and high-quality documentation.
Job Responsibilities
- Support due diligence and legal closing processes for new private equity investments and ensure readiness for execution.
- Track investment workflows, approvals, and deliverables to drive timely completion across stakeholders.
- Partner with investment professionals to underwrite new investments, including primaries and co-investments, using qualitative assessment and quantitative analysis.
- Analyze prospective investments by reviewing confidential investment memorandums and supporting diligence workstreams.
- Draft and update sections of investment memorandums for internal investment committee discussions and, where applicable, client communications.
- Synthesize key diligence findings into clear, concise narratives for senior review and decision-making.
- Review and interpret financial statements, quarterly fund reports, and related materials to identify performance drivers, risks, and notable developments.
- Monitor existing portfolio investments on a quarterly basis, including performance tracking and variance analysis.
- Escalate key items, risks, and variances for follow-up and resolution in partnership with the broader team.
- Maintain organized, complete, and audit-ready investment files, documentation, and supporting materials.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders including investment, legal, and operations teams to ensure efficient information flow and high-quality execution across concurrent priorities.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- At least 1 years of relevant experience, in finance, accounting, data analytics, valuation, private equity, or investment banking.
- Graduate/Post graduate in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Business Administration
- Strong financial literacy, including the ability to interpret financial statements and fund reports.
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to draft clear investment materials.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Prior exposure to private equity fund investing (primaries and/or co-investments).
