We are seeking a PricingDirect Analyst to join our CLO team in a demanding role that combines complex financial analysis with cutting-edge technology. This position offers the opportunity to work with sophisticated valuation models and provide first-class service to our clients.
As a PricingDirect Analyst, you will be responsible for generating security valuations across multiple market closes while performing complex quantitative and data analysis. You will work in a dynamic environment that requires self-motivated problem-solving skills and the ability to develop new areas of product growth through independent research and client interactions.
Job Responsibilities
- Generate daily security valuations for multiple market closes, including market data collection and analysis, price generation, quality control, and client feedback.
- Examine and develop new areas of product growth through independent research and interactions with clients, trading desks, research professionals, and technology teams.
- Address client concerns on a daily basis with emphasis on providing first-class service and quality.
- Continuously improve product and service quality through daily market surveillance, communication with market participants, data analysis, and process enhancement.
- Develop and maintain regular contact with trading desks, research teams, and market participants.
- Perform in-depth analysis on individual securities or portfolios and explain nuances to colleagues and clients.
- Collect and analyze large amounts of market information and incorporate findings into valuation processes.
- Utilize creative problem-solving skills while performing well under pressure.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Bachelor's degree or higher, ideally in Finance or a related field such as Physics, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, or Data Science.
- Knowledge of fixed income and pricing.
- Experience in programming languages such as Python, VBA, Perl, Java, or SQL.
- Proficiency in Excel and high aptitude for learning new technologies.
- Clear, logical thinking with strong quantitative abilities.
- Effective communication skills to interact with traders, research teams, and clients.
- Strong understanding of finance principles, derivative and fixed income securities, and mathematical modeling.
- Detail-oriented approach with highly disciplined process and quality control methods.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Practical exposure to machine learning and artificial intelligence packages.
- Experience with databases and various programming languages.
- Strong Excel skills with Python coding experience.
- Ability to learn quickly, multi-task, and self-manage priorities.
- Strong team player with excellent client communication skills.
