Full Job Description

Location: Metro Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines

The Talent Acquisition Support and Onboarding function is dedicated to supporting local hiring in the Philippines. It is mandatory for all new hires to submit statutory documents and complete pre-employment screening. The team ensures the completeness and timeliness of these submissions. Additionally, the team actively participates in Day 1 activities for all new hires at the corporate center.

As an Onboarding Senior Specialist within the Talent Acquisition Support and Onboarding function, you will work closely with candidates who accepted job offers to ensure clear understanding of pre-employment requirements and Onboarding process.

Job responsibilities:

  • Monitor pre-employment requirements submission of new hires. Coordinate with pre-employment screening and medical vendors to ensure efficient service delivery
  • Coordinate and meet with recruiters regarding onboarding concerns. Prepare and ensure completeness of employment documents as per established timeline
  • Ensure onboarding transactions are in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Coordinate candidate relocation travel - process candidate expenses, credit card reconciliation, etc. (if applicable)
  • Work with various HR teams to support specific projects, reporting, and/or HR efforts as needed
  • Assist training other team members on the process, systems and applications as and when required
  • Manage or assist in ad-hoc projects and assignments as needed as part of process/procedure/functional enhancements
  • Participate in developing departmental goals, objectives, and systems
  • Recommend new approaches, policy enhancements, and innovations to effect continual improvements in efficiency of the department and services performed
  • Update job knowledge and participate in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining strategic networking, and engaging in developmental tasks and expanded roles

Required qualifications, skills and capabilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree holder required, a graduate of any of these courses: Human Resources, Psychology, Accounting, Finance; undergraduates can be considered, if with relevant experience in PH New Hire Onboarding.
  • Minimum 1 year work experience in related field (Talent Acquisition/ Global Employee Services), required. Secondment experience in PH New Hire Onboarding can be considered.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage own workload in a pressurized and deadline driven environment, operating within tight timeframes
  • Ability to run with a number of tasks concurrently, ensuring that all tasks are seen through to resolution whilst maintaining a high degree of accuracy and quality output at all times
  • Analytical and a team worker
  • Must understand and maintain high degree of confidentiality with respect to employees' personal data
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to deal with employees across all levels of the organization in a sensitive manner
  • Proficient in using MS Windows applications (Excel, SharePoint, Word, Powerpoint, etc.)
  • Can work independently with minimal supervision
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned
  • Amenable to working full day shift 10am to 11am start shift), extending as needed
