Deliver high-quality client onboarding and documentation controls to enable timely account opening and compliant service activation.


As a Client Onboarding & Documentation Specialist within Transaction Services / Commercial Banking Operations, you manage end-to-end account opening documentation and associated control checks to support a seamless client experience. You review client requests, validate legal and product documentation, and perform risk and signature verification in line with internal policies and approved matrices. You partner closely with external clients and internal stakeholders to resolve issues, escalate where needed, and ensure deliverables are met on time.

 

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Review and interpret client requests to determine onboarding and documentation actions required
  • Manage the account opening and client documentation workflow from creation through review and signature validation
  • Verify that the risk rating selected aligns with the approved risk matrix and control requirements
  • Perform research for product set-up and account opening to assess documentation requirements, coordinating via frequent calls with clients and internal partners
  • Validate core legal documents, product forms, and service terms against policies and procedures, and scan/index documents to the centralized repository
  • Validate authorized signatory details and negotiated documents, and conduct signature verification
  • Ensure documentation adheres to legal guidelines, policies, standards, and the control framework, while driving issue resolution, escalations, and mandate authentication into relevant platforms


Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities

 

  • Graduate with 2+ years of relevant experience in legal documentation, account products, and related documentation types (entity organizational documents, tax documentation)
  • Ability to review, analyze, and synthesize information from multiple sources to determine relevance and required actions
  • Strong client focus with the ability to partner effectively with internal groups and client coverage teams
  • Demonstrated ability to manage workflows, meet deliverables, and support issue resolution and escalation processes


Preferred qualifications, skills, and capabilities

 

  • Knowledge of Transaction Services and Commercial Banking products and operations
  • Experience with account opening / onboarding documentation lifecycle management (creation, review, signature validation)
  • Familiarity with document repositories and processes for scanning, indexing, and document control governance
  • Experience working in a control framework environment with strong attention to risk mitigation and policy adherence
