You will translate complex behavioral data into clear recommendations, optimize marketing through testing and measurement, and partner closely with marketing, product, and data stakeholders to unlock the value of our data and drive growth.

As a Marketing Analytics Associate at JPMorganChase within the Card Data and Analytics team, you will translate customer behavioral data into insights that inform digital marketing strategies and influence new card acquisitions. You will plan and execute analytical projects independently and with teammates, partnering with channel marketing, product, and data owners to enable data-driven decision-making. You will communicate insights in a clear, compelling way to support business growth and continuous improvement.

Job responsibilities

  • Devise and evaluate methods and procedures for collecting and validating data across digital channels
  • Analyze customer behavior and campaign performance to identify actionable opportunities to improve acquisition outcomes
  • Partner with digital channel marketing and product teams to deliver insights that inform strategy and execution
  • Build concise, timely analytics on key trends from large datasets to support growth targets
  • Synthesize complex analyses into clear recommendations for marketing strategy and audience decisioning
  • Measure and report results of A/B (split) tests and other experiments to guide optimization decisions
  • Develop and maintain reporting and performance measurement to support ongoing decision-making
  • Present insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders through clear narratives and data visualizations
  • Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Bachelors degree in a quantitative field (for example, Statistics, Economics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, Physics, or Data Science)
  • 1+ years of applied analytics experience (for example, digital analytics, customer analytics, marketing analytics, sales analytics, or business insights)
  • Strong data querying and data mining skills using SQL
  • Applied experience using Python for analysis (for example, data wrangling, exploratory analysis, and measurement)
  • Experience with business intelligence and visualization tools (for example, Tableau)
  • Ability to translate analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including comfort presenting to senior audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across marketing, product, and data stakeholders
  • Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Masters degree in a quantitative field
  • Working knowledge of data science techniques (for example, segmentation and machine learning concepts)
