The Loan Servicing & Credit Support Supervisor – Team Leader is a pivotal role within our Loans group, responsible for driving operational excellence and team performance. This position offers broad exposure to banking operations, enabling you to contribute to the seamless delivery of financial services. Job Summary

As a Loan Servicing & Credit Support Supervisor – Team Leader within the Loans group, you will oversee and guide your team to ensure all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and operational goals are consistently met. You will supervise a variety of processes, including Deal Closing, Drawdowns, Rollovers, Repayments, Pre-payments, Funding, Rate-Fixings, Fees, and external payments. This role provides the opportunity to develop expertise in Nostro & Past Due Reconciliation and make a significant impact on our operational success.

Job Responsibilities

  • Monitor team performance daily to ensure all SLAs are achieved and escalate exceptions promptly.
  • Supervise processes such as Deal Closing, Drawdowns, Rollovers, Repayments, and Nostro & Past Due Reconciliation.
  • Ensure adherence to quality and quantity SLAs while maintaining a robust workflow allocation model.
  • Serve as the SME, resolving complex process-related queries and coordinating with onshore teams as needed.
  • Implement and maintain a comprehensive Knowledge Management model, including SOPs and training.
  • Drive full compliance with process-related policies, guidelines, and controls.
  • Motivate and support team members to achieve goals, identifying high-potential employees and planning their development.
  • Identify and evaluate alternatives for resolving issues, considering multiple scenarios.
  • Collaborate effectively with others, valuing diverse skills and building interdependence.
  • Assess training needs to enhance performance and ensure compliance with training requirements.
  • Maintain high team depth by developing trained backups for all critical work queues.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree with minimum 6 years of relevant loan servicing experience, ideally in syndicated loans or financial industry roles.
  • Gain proficiency in loan systems such as Loan IQ.
  • Possess expertise in nostro/cash matching, General Ledger reconciliation, and SWIFT/remittance systems.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving and investigative skills to resolve process-related issues.
  • Maintain a robust risk and control mindset.
  • Understand investment banking products, including loans.
  • Drive small to medium-sized projects to successful completion.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Maintain a strong control mindset and uphold high business ethics, with deep experience in loan products and global markets.
  • Communicate effectively and quickly adapt to complex systems architecture.
