Full Job Description

Location: LONDON, LONDON, United Kingdom

Out of the successful launch of Chase in 2021, we’re a new team, with a new mission. We’re creating products that solve real world problems and put customers at the center -  all in an environment that nurtures skills and helps you realize your potential. Our team is key to our success. We’re people-first. We value collaboration, curiosity and commitment.

As a Lead Technical Program Manager at JPMorgan Chase within the Accelerator COO Team, you are the heart of this venture, focused on getting smart ideas into the hands of our customers. You have a curious mindset, thrive in collaborative squads, and are passionate about new technology. By your nature, you are also solution-oriented, commercially savvy and have a head for fintech. You thrive in working in tribes and squads that focus on specific products and projects – and depending on your strengths and interests, you'll have the opportunity to move between them.

While we’re looking for professional skills, culture is just as important to us. We understand that everyone's unique – and that diversity of thought, experience and background is what makes a good team, great. By bringing people with different points of view together, we can represent everyone and truly reflect the communities we serve. This way, there's scope for you to make a huge difference – on us as a company, and on our clients and business partners around the world.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end product delivery processes including intake, dependency management, release management, product operationalization, delivery feasibility decision-making, and product performance reporting, while escalating opportunities to improve efficiencies and functional coordination
  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, incorporating technical requirements, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure on-time delivery of technology solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and business stakeholders, to define program scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with overall business goals
  • Assess project performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement process improvements that scale with delivery
  • Identify and mitigate program/project risks, proactively addressing potential roadblocks, implementing risk management strategies and contingency plans to maintain the momentum, and minimizing impact on project outcomes
  • Oversee and optimize operational workflows, ensuring smooth execution of initiatives
  • Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and other critical documents for leadership and stakeholders. Be comfortable communicating with stakeholders at all levels, adjusting communication to fit the audience.

Required Qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience in program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in a large organization
  • Advanced expertise in stakeholder management, with the ability to establish productive working relationships and influence decision-making across cross-functional teams and clients
  • Proven track record of effectively managing resources, budgets, and high-performing teams in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • Demonstrated proficiency in applying analytical reasoning and problem-solving techniques to break down business, technical, or operational objectives into manageable tasks and activities
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely. Advanced level experience using Microsoft Office Suite – PowerPoint, Excel, Word
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong technical fluency, with familiarity in current FinTech technologies and products is advantageous
