As a Lead TPM for Portfolio Governance in Enterprise Services and Platforms (ESP), you will be responsible for establishing and overseeing governance frameworks that drive the successful delivery of technology portfolios and programs. You will ensure that all initiatives are aligned with organizational strategy, leveraging your expertise in portfolio management, data analytics, and stakeholder engagement. Your role will require hands-on experience with tools such as Jira, as well as the ability to implement best practices for portfolio tracking, reporting, and continuous improvement. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure transparency, accountability, and optimal resource allocation across the portfolio.

Job responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain portfolio governance frameworks, processes, and standards to ensure alignment with organizational strategy and objectives.
  • Oversee the end-to-end portfolio management lifecycle, including intake, prioritization, resource allocation, tracking, and reporting.
  • Utilize Jira and other firmwide portfolio management tools such as those in myIG to monitor progress, manage dependencies, and provide actionable insights through dashboards and reports.
  • Drive a data-driven approach to portfolio management, leveraging metrics and analytics to inform decision-making and optimize portfolio performance.
  • Facilitate portfolio review meetings, ensuring transparency, accountability, and timely escalation of risks and issues.
  • Collaborate with program and project managers, business stakeholders, and leadership to ensure effective communication and alignment across all initiatives.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities within portfolio governance processes.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 7+ years of experience in portfolio, program, or project management within a large, complex organization.
  • Proven expertise in portfolio governance, including the development, implementation, and oversight of governance frameworks, processes, and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira for portfolio and program management, including workflow customization, reporting, and dashboard creation.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply a data-driven approach to portfolio management, leveraging metrics and analytics to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
  • Experience in resource planning, risk management, and financial oversight for large portfolios.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
